HumanTrak 3-D Scanning

At Mangawhai Chiropractic, we use the HumanTrak scanning system to give you a clearer picture of how your body is really moving. This advanced 3D movement scan picks up imbalances, stiffness and compensation patterns that aren’t always visible to the eye.

What this means for you is more precise, personalised care. This takes out guess work; we use real data to guide your treatment and track your progress over time. You’ll be able to see measurable improvements in your movement, strength and balance as you go.

Most importantly, HumanTrak helps us identify small issues before they turn into bigger problems — supporting faster results now and helping prevent future injuries so you can keep doing what you love.

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic care addresses the neuro-musculoskeletal system (the nerves associated with the spine and the muscles holding everything in place) and works to restore spinal misalignments affecting how efficiently your brain sends messages and your body receives them. When left untreated, the cumulative effects of these environmental factors may begin to take a toll on your body and this is often when back pain and discomfort are experienced.

What to expect from us

At your first appointment, your chiropractor will ask a number of questions to clarify how your spine is limiting you. Once all the relevant information is gained, a chiropractic examination is completed. This involves neurological, orthopaedic, postural, and physical tests.

If X-rays are required in addition to your physical assessment, your Chiropractor will communicate this with you, and a referral will be made. This ensures that the most effective recovery plan is developed by visualising the spinal anatomy, and also screens for any serious spinal conditions. Most are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In many cases, patients can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Once all information is gathered a diagnosis and recovery plan specific to you will be established. Recommendations will be made on how to make the most out of your care, and the plan for your recovery will begin with a spinal adjustment.
